Member of National Assembly Ayesha Gulalai, who has left the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) after levelling allegations against Imran Khan, has now sent separate letters to the Federal Interior Ministry and Inspector General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in which she sought security against threats and adverse measures by various elements.
The resolution read, "Imran Khan behaved immorally with member National Assembly Ayesha Gulalai and the courageous people of our tribal areas which damaged the respect of the people of this province".
An hour later he tweeted again: "There was no marriage proposal as such to Ayesha Gulalai as she herself said in Asma Shirazi's show, just a discussion".
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, the country's interim prime minister, has called for an investigation into claims that Mr Khan bombarded a member of the national assembly nearly 40 years his junior with lewd text messages over a long period.
PTI lawmaker Shireen Mazari rejected the Prime Minister's suggestion and said that, instead of Imran Khan, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khuwaja Asif should be probed for abusing her in the house.
Gulalai has not released any of the alleged text messages, prompting many in Pakistan to believe the case may be politically motivated.
British model kidnapped in Italy and put up for auction on internet
Corriere della Sera reports the alleged captor told the woman she could be freed upon payment of 50,000 euros (about $A74,245). But reports in La Stampa alleged Herba had contacted the model's agent and demanded the same £270,000 price for her freedom.
Abbasi told the National Assembly on Friday that he wanted a special panel to investigate the allegations.
"We respect the person who has made the accusation but we also respect the accused, and it is their right to be able to contest these allegations", Abbasi said in Parliament.
Khan held a rally of his supporters last weekend in the capital Islamabad to celebrate Sharif's removal.
Wazir claimed that Gulalai's statement about Imran Khan sending her inappropriate messages on her mobile had not only insulted the Pakhtuns but also disgraced a large number of women workers affiliated with PTI.
