The Catalan giants were also thought to be keeping tabs on Hernandez, but it appears that Los Blancos have all but clinched his signature.
However, that has not stopped interest in his services and there have been strong reports recently that Real Madrid, Barcelona and Liverpool have been keen on signing him up. The 19-year-old is a highly regarded talent and with a release clause in his contract, would not break the bank.
However, Hernandez's agent denies that a deal has been struck.
