Microsoft said Wednesday that it will roll out the Creators Update to some 400 million Windows 10 devices worldwide over time.
The Microsoft Windows 10 Creator's Update is going live on April 5th via a manual download.
Incidentally, Beam is also expected to come with the new Windows 10 Creators Update that's rolling out to the public on April 11, 2017.
The update brings Beam Streaming, an enhanced Guide menu, updated home screen, improved multitasking features, and more. The company is releasing a new update for the OneNote app to Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring. The update can be viewed as an effort to push Beam, which Microsoft bought in 2016.
The major goal for this release is to make streaming of Xbox One gameplay even easier for the players. Stream with Beam As with Windows 10, the Xbox One now includes native integration with Beam, the popular game streaming service recently acquired by Microsoft. According to John Cable, director of program management and part of the Windows servicing and delivery team, the first group to receive the feature upgrade will be owners of "newer devices, especially those we tested together with our OEM hardware partners". Microsoft has developed a new feature called Night Light and was created to reduce blue light emitted by a screen, which may help you get to sleep easier at night. You'll also find the new Beam viewing app in My Games and Apps, which lets you watch, chat, and interact with your favorite game streamers in near real-time.
It is a big day for Xbox One players. It also add features, including a dynamic background based on the game users are playing.
Derrick Rose to have knee surgery, miss rest of season
The Knicks are 29-48 after Sunday's 110-94 loss to the Boston Celtics and will miss the playoffs for the fourth straight season. Rose averaged 18 points and 4.4 assists in 64 games for the Knicks, who will not reach the postseason in the Eastern Conference.
A Beam function will also be available that will allow gamers to transmit their gaming online.
For the those of you who are eager to get the Creators Update right away, you will be able to initiate the update manually, starting on April 5th, via Update Assistant.
The new Guide is also the gateway to new Xbox One multitasking features.
The new features are designed around encouraging gamers to stream more often, providing easier access to those aspects of the UI. Many thanks to the feedback from the members of our Xbox Insider Program.
This application will be released on April 11 alongside the console's update. The centrality of Beam to this new Xbox experience seems like it could be more of a distraction for a large number of users, but otherwise these changes feel like a clear win.
