The first reveal trailer has also been revealed.
It's a very exciting to be a Destiny fan, especially given that we're less than six months away from the release of Destiny 2. Rumors over the past few years about the game suggest that the world of Destiny 2 will be more lively than the original, including "play-in destinations" with populated towns and quests.
Aside from another look at the characters and setting, the biggest part of the announcement is that Destiny 2 will arrive on PC alongside its console editions, marking the first time the franchise has appeared on anything other than a PlayStation or Xbox.
Because the day wouldn't be complete without more teasing, Bungie says there'll be a "gameplay premiere live stream" on May 18.
Camera feature added to Facebook app
Once you open the camera , you'll find Facebook's other new Snapchat-like features, including filters that can be added to images. Years ago, Facebook was rebuffed when it tried to purchase the popular company pioneering camera-first sharing.
According to Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg, Destiny 2 will provide state of the art first person action, an awesome new story, great characters, and thoughtful innovations that make the game more accessible to all different kinds of players. The exclusion isn't necessarily shocking - Activision and Bungie need something to show at E3 2017 - but we'd be lying if we said it wasn't a bit disappointing all the same.
"Worst-case scenario, you die", Cayde-6 quips in the trailer. However, Destiny 2 takes the fight off Earth and sends players to new, uncharted worlds in the solar system. It's this hype mentality that can easily offset or even ruin a lot of people's perception of a game, especially ones as ambitious as Destiny. This is a new beginning for every player. After Destiny wasn't available on the platform, PC version is on the way along with the expected Xbox One and PS4 versions.
While there isn't any gameplay footage in the new video, there is a small description about the game which can be read below. The broadcast will showcase a variety of fun, action-oriented activities within Destiny 2, and will highlight the brand-new adventure waiting for players. But it's also sticking to tradition with similar launch timing, as the Destiny 2 release date is September 8 worldwide. There will also be a Collector's Edition ($249.99) containing a fully-wearable Frontier Bag, the Expansion Pass, premium digital content, and a Cabal-themed Collector's Box.
