The weather greetings message is displayed at the top of the News Feed when users open the app in the morning and it can be noticed on the mobile version of Facebook, as well as on a desktop.
Facebook has also introduced an option to get the weather notifications.
While Facebook will display the weather for your location by default, you can check the forecast for other cities as well. Interestingly, the weather update would be forecasted by Weather.com.
"A Facebook spokesperson said, "We are doing this because our goal is to develop products that connect people to the things they care about most and create moments of joy in people's day, like simply telling you that it's going to rain later", a spokesperson said". However, Facebook's new offering is a complete weather tool that is more akin to Yahoo Weather and Apple's Weather app.
This update can be viewed as an extension to the previous feature. In addition to the current readings and the forecast, Facebook's weather page will show an image reflecting the current conditions by where you live.

Also, at the top of the Weather page is a special art that will constantly shift based on the current forecast.
"Notifications and the more detailed greetings are rolling out for tests now, with all these updates being widely available by the end of the month", says the company.
